Originally from Portsmouth and now based in London, Todd Blackmore is an accomplished musician known for his versatility, precision, and musicality. He is currently the guitarist for the internationally acclaimed ABBA Voyage band, a groundbreaking live experience that blends virtual innovation with world-class musicianship.
With extensive experience across a wide range of genres, Todd has developed a finely tuned ear and an adaptable playing style that enables him to excel in any musical environment. Over recent years, he has toured throughout the UK and internationally, performing both headline and support shows with artists including Reverend and the Makers, Go West, Peter Cox, The Hunna, Starsailor, Mallory Knox, and You Me at Six. He has graced the main stages of major UK festivals such as Reading & Leeds and Isle of Wight, and recently completed a Canadian tour with acclaimed Iranian pop artist Sogand.
Todd also composes and produces his own original material. His debut single “WAYV” earned him a place in the final of the global “Guitarist of the Year” competition, where he was selected by guitar icons Steve Lukather, Lari Basilio, and Chris Buck as one of the top three guitarists worldwide.
In addition to his solo and live work, Todd continues to collaborate with Go West and Peter Cox, recording and touring in support of Cox’s latest solo album. Most recently, he released his first masterclass, “Vocal Phrasing Techniques,” in partnership with Jam Track Central, sharing his approach to melodic expression and phrasing with a global community of guitarists.
